Withington Manor Horse Trials is widely regarded as one of the most spectacular one-day event venues in the United Kingdom, all the disciplines take place on an elevated part of Withington Manor Estate overlooking the beautiful Cotswold landscape.

Withington is a significant date in the calendar of British Eventing and hosts Novice, Pony Championships, Intermediate and Advanced classes. It is notable that only 12 other venues in the UK host the Advanced level which draws many of the top UK riders to the event. Withington is highly regarded for its exceptional build quality, attention to detail and providing challenging competition across all classes.

Pre and post event press releases to local papers, country and equestrian magazines will occur as well as engagement with Twitter, Facebook and radio. All Partner Sponsors will also have an individual press release placed on the website of the governing body of the sport, British Eventing, to highlight your business and investment in the sport.

HISTORY OF THE SPORT

Horse Trials, also known as eventing, is a testing triathlon of dressage, showjumping and cross country, which involves hours of intensive training, careful preparation, skill and great courage. This Olympic sport has its roots in the preparation of the cavalry horse in war time where obedience, trust and great stamina were needed from both horse and rider. These same characteristics are tested today and will be on display at the event as they are required in order to successfully compete at Withington Manor Horse Trials.

You can select from 4 levels of competition, Novice, Pony, Intermediate or Advanced.Each level is divided into what are called Sections which are made up of approximately 40 riders.Each Section is run as an individual competition with its own sponsor, winner and runners up.
