There are foldable pallet boxes (FLC), such as the KLAPA or the VDA-GLT or rigid containers such as the PALOXE.

This large container is mainly based on the ISO dimensions, but there are also containers with smaller basic dimensions. We provide you with an overview below.

Volume reductionThe collapsed container allows for significant space savings compared to the erected KLAPA.

Removal aperturesTo facilitate loading and unloading, access openings can be folded down within the sidewall.

Forklift truck tracksSteel U-profiles have been inserted in the lower frame of the Special KLAPA. If such a KLAPA is moved with a forklift truck, the forks can be locked into the U-profile so that damage to the con-tainer, in particular the base, is prevented.

KLAPA – for volume-saving empty running

The KLAPA is a collapsible large-capacity container (FLC) with a pallet base. By laying the sidewalls of the empty container on top of one another, its volume can be significantly reduced.

Steel U-profiles in the lower bottom edge of the KLAPA Special protect the sidewalls and the base against the forks.

Forklift railsIf KLAPA boxes are moved with a forklift, as often hap-pens in practice, it can cause damage to the sidewalls.With the steel U-profiles in the lower edge of the KLAPA Special, the box can be moved without being damaged .

Stackable only on the lidThe feet on a KLAPA can be shaped such that the boxes can only be stacked on the corresponding mouldings of the lid.

Stacking lidKLAPA stacking lids are designed in such a way that the boxes can be stacked securely on the lids.

KLAPAVDA large load carrier (FLC)

The VDA 121010 large load carrier is a foldable pallet box on the basis of ISO (1200 x 1000 mm) certified by the VDA as recommendation 4520.

Reinforced corner areasCorner areas reinforced with plastic plates increase the stability of the VDA large load carrier.

Forklift railsPlastic rails in the lower edge area are specifically attached for the forks of the forklift. As a result, the container can be moved on these plastic rails so that damage to the sidewalls by the forklifts is prevented.

Reduced transporta-tion costsWhen transporting empty KLAPA containers in a jumbo lorry, 8 VDA large load carriers can be transpor-ted stacked on top of one another instead of 7 con-ventional large load carriers. This enables a reduction in the transport costs of more than 14%.

Base reinforcementA diagonal steel profile in the base enables a reduction in the rib height and there-fore increases the effective height by 20 mm.
