Spanish Dual Language

Immersion

Families with Kindergarten students joining the Speas Global Elementary learning community have the opportunity to enroll in a Spanish Dual Language Immersion class (DLI). Native English and native Spanish speakers learn grade-level content along with learning the Spanish language at the same time.

• DLI classes are taught by native Spanish speaking teachers, from various Spanish-speaking countries all over the world.

• DLI students engage in the same curriculum as their peers in English-only classrooms.

• Parents do not need to speak Spanish in order for their child to be very successful in DLI.

• Enrollment in the Spanish Immersion program is based upon interest and available space.
