Develop a range of branded packaging and stationary items to create a visual identity for the hypothetical boutique Parisian Macaron Patisserie, ‘La Petit Macaron’ to appeal to working professionals and design /fashion-conscious residents of Central Paris in the high-end,luxury market.

Concept
Products designed for the ‘La Petit Macaron’ boutique macaron patisserie brief range through a wide selection of products, including promotional media (printed advertising), editorial design, packaging and branded stationary to create a considered and well - rounded visual brand and brand identity.
Inspired by the shape and character of macarons, along with a fresh, spearmint green and white brand colour palette throughout brand deliverables, a polka dot special edition product packaging is shown throughout gift packaging and in store products and design, such as piping bags and tea sets (shown above).

Develop the ‘Write About Love’ greetings card brand to create a range of gift wrap and greeting card design and paraphernalia for the West- Yorkshire based company, UK Greetings, as developed from the YCN Student Awards 2013 brief.

Concept
The ‘Write About Love’ brand range acts as a direct, playful, unique, and modern approach to expressing love. With heartfelt and often playful messages throughout the design range, in various contemporary and eye- catchingly bright colours, the greetings card and gift wrap set is a unisex and universal purchase for men, women, boys, girls, and, simply, anyone that wants to declare how much they adore one another.

Developing a range of promotional material that visually communicates images and nar-rative from each of the films in the auteur di-rector’s filmography, with visual references in regards to typography and the colour palettes selected throughout.

Develop a range of both printed and digital media to promote the brand identity of Leeds Metropolitan University MArch student, Alex Warren, reflecting his professional and conceptually-driven design portfolio upon as he seeks future employment upon graduation.

Concept
Influenced by initial logo marks contextualised and used in the fashion industry, the ‘AW’ logo mark was designed to reflect the client’s refinement, professionalism and sophisticated taste, evidenced throughout his personal and professional design portfolio.
The “reversible”aspect of the vector-based initials also demonstrates Alex’s conceptual creativity and attention to detail.

Develop a range of hypothetical brand stationary for property developer / landlord, Paul Danks, which reflects his care, attention to detail, friendly, and considered approach for working with both his properties and for tenants alike.

Image logomark developed in black and white for a bold, minimal visual icon, as well as the economic print benefit of greyscale printing for the client’s business.
‘p’ and ‘d’ shapes designed to visually communicate both the initials and key shape icons associated with the property development business, as well as the client’s own initials.

Dachshund | Teetotal
Originally developed as part of the self initiated ‘Design a Day’ brief. After being published online, the image was spotted by UK company, ‘TeeTotal’, whereupon a license agreement was arranged to print a limited run of 250 t-shirts with the development of red and blue dachshund designs (throughout final print).

A wide variety of living room and homeware items and deliverables were produced as design proposals for the Laura Ashley Spring / Summer 2013 Home Interiors Collection range.
Original, hand-rendered watercolour images were designed by collaborative design partner, Steph Lawson, to contextualise the range in a professional and visually appropriate surface pattern and textile designs to be positioned alongside existing archived and contemporary Laura Ashley living room and homeware collections.

‘The WedThings product deliverables reflect the developing independent wedding decoration and planning business run by design client, Hannah Crowson, based in Shropshire, United Kingdom.

The WedThings brand “tag line” ‘Wedding Decoration for the DIY Bride’ is reflected in both the company’s portfolio of work and throughout brand and product deliverables, using recycled kraft paper stock and logo ink stamps to create an upcycled and handmade, yet professional and considered aesthetic design outcome.
