1. Location, Picture, and Tourism

Location

Padang city is located on the west coast of the island of Sumatra, with a total area of 694.96 km ² equivalent to 1.65% of the area of West Sumatra province. More than 60% area of the city of Padang (± 434.63 km ²) is a hilly area covered with forests, while the rest are effectively urban areas.
