[what we do]

Solar Power Purchase AgreementsA solar Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) is a long-term contract to buy solar-generated electricity at a predetermined price. Using our own source of funds, we build a solar energy facility on a custom-er’s site, and own, operate, and maintain the facility for the life of the agreement.

Benefi ts of a solar PPA include:

No upfront costsWe secure the capital to develop the solar facility, freeing the host’s capital for use in its core business. There is no capital required by the host customer.

Stable energy ratesA solar PPA is a long-term energy con-tract with defi ned pricing for every kWh you consume. Predictable forward pric-ing can act as a hedge against unknown rising electric uti lity rates.

No operati onal riskWe conti nually opti mize and maintain the solar system for the term of the PPA—host customers pay only for the power generated.

Without the solar Power Purchase Agreement, our cost to deploy would have been more challenging. Our ratepay-ers win, as we now have contractual stability over much of our energy costs for years to come. The working relationship between our staff and Solar Power Partners was extremely well tuned.
