Title: "Spindle cell hell" - spindle cell soft tissue

neoplasms and their diagnostic pitfalls“

In 2 hours will be presented 8 cases of relatively

common spindle cell soft tissue neoplasm that can pose a

diagnostic challenge. Each case will be a 15 min presentation

and he will present the slide, describe histopathologic features,

briefly discuss the entity and differential diagnoses.

Title: Gastointestinal lymphomas - the everyday practice and a

few interesting zebras

Prvih 45-50 minuta - predavanje о limfomима koji se

karakteristično javljaju u gastointestinalnom traktu (B-, T- i

NK-limfome) - njihove kliničko-patološke karakterisitke i

diferencijalnu diagnozu. Ostatak vremena - predstavljanje

zanimljivih slučajeva iz rutinske prakse, 5-6 slucajeva. Kod

svakog slučaja, prvo će biti opisane histološke karakteristike

limfoma, data dijagnoza i nakon toga diskusija o interesantnim

aspektima svakog slučaja

Title: Diagnostic problems in testicular pathology

Germ cell tumors account for 90% of all testicular

tumors. Most of these tumors are readily diagnosed as

seminomas or mixed germ cell tumors, and in general

diagnostic problems encountered in daily diagnostic pathology

are uncommon. In this presentation we will review some of the

possible problems pertaining to testicular tumors including

uncommon variants , less common testicular tumors and

metastases.

Title: That is one case I will never forget

Hepatoid adenocarcinoma of the stomach (HAS) is a

rare form of gastric cancer with clinicopathological

presentation mimicking hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The

high similarity between the two diseases makes the differential

diagnosis challenging, especially when the primary tumor is

unknown, and the liver nodules are the only initial finding. In

this presentation we will analyze the possible reasons for

misdiagnosis or missed diagnosis of hepatoid adenocarcinoma

of the stomach (HAS).
