Dear Church Family,

Tomorrow we officially celebrate Christmas, the earthly birth of our Savior and Lord. This year, many of you have experienced difficulty and hardship, sadness as well as happiness, sorrow as well as joy; for some, there is an empty seat at your table, and your heart is telling you that Christmas will never be the same. In some ways, that is true, but let us not forget that our loved ones are now enjoying their first Christmas in Heaven, and we should be joyful for them, even though we hurt because of their absence.

No matter what has happened in this past year, the one thing that has remained constant has been our Lord Jesus. We celebrate His birthday because of WHO He is and WHAT He came to do for us! Enjoy the presents, decorations, food and family; but, above all else—worship Jesus. Celebrate Him!
