Hey everyone! We hope your semester has been going well so far. We also hope that you’re excited to be part of Smevans Hall 2010-2011 because your Hall Council wants to plan fun events for the upcoming year! So within this month’s issue of Smevans-Who? What? When?, there is a calendar of exciting November events happening in our halls. We hope to see you all there.

“We all just wanna be big Rock Stars…”
Wednesday November 10th 9:30pm-10:30pm Smith 1st floor lounge "Because we all just wanna be big rock stars..." Come audition to represent Smevans hall in the RHA competition to become the next Simmons Rock Star. You can audition acappella, with an instrument, or even with karaoke style. Solo acts only. Hope to see all you Rock Stars there!
ROCKSTAR AUDITIONS
Thursday November 11th 7-10:30pm Smith 1st Floor Lounge Come join Smevans Hall Council for our first official event. :) We will be playing a variety of board games like Apples to Apples, Scene It, Scattergories, What's Yours Like, and Pictionary with other residents. It will be excellent way to end off the Veteran’s day holiday. We hope to see you all there. And bring friends!

Actual Rock Star Competition Event is Wed Nov 17th from 7-9pm in Alumnae Hall.
If the answer to any of the following questions was YES… Then you should join us for Rock Band Night on Sunday November 21st at 6pm. We will be playing the original Rock Band as well as Beatles Rock Band. It’s going to be rocking. Get ready to start the band of the century.
Monday November 22nd 6-8pm Evans Lobby Come get festive for our monthly craft night. This month we will be making a variety of Thanksgiving Holiday crafts like hand turkeys and pilgrim hats. Warm sugar cookies will be served. We hope to see there.

Saturday November 6th to Saturday November 13th at MIDNIGHT! Enter your '70s design into the Smevans Hall T-shirt Contest! And if yours is chosen everyone could be wearing your retro 1970s design to Hall events. How groovy? Contest ENDS SATURDAY at MIDNIGHT Email all designs to [email protected] *remember our t-shirt color can be either black or purple as the base. :)

About Our Organization… Smevans Hall council is a dual hall council consisting of the two upper-classmen suite style dorms: Smith and Evans. As upper classmen we hope to use our zest and enthusiasm for Simmons College to inspire the rest of the college to become involved. Our biggest goal this year will be to unify the residents of Smith Hall and Evans Hall by hosting fun and engaging inter-hall events.
