Finally, we have been notified that Digital Theatre,
the operator of showtix4u (whom we use for fine
arts ticket sales), experienced a data breach
between April and September of 2015. Every
individual who purchased tickets during that time
frame has been contacted personally by Digital
Theatre with an apology and instructions for
handling the situation. They have taken steps with
a leading cyber security firm to prevent future
hacking, and have informed us of their confidence
that customers can safely resume using payment
cards on their website. However, if you prefer, you
may still purchase tickets by phoning the SMCHS
office or at the door. Please rest assured that
neither SMCS Fine Arts nor showtix4u stores any
credit card information.
