Front cover

Firstly I started out with a background colour that would match my picture.

I then decided to insert my masthead.

Next I cut my person away from their background and inserted them onto the cover.

I then added a rectangular white box and added some “stress” marks as it were.

Now knowing how much space I had left I started adding some headlines. I also added a barcode. (If you were to scan that, it will say Roan Fryer)

I then added some more headlines and enlarged the word stress, one to fill space and two to show the theme of the cover.

Last I added a price and converted it into a jpeg file.

Firstly I added a white background.

Then a rectangle of orange. You will notice that there is a white space on the side. The picture right shows that our subject covers it up. Why it is there will become clear soon.

I then added a blue rectangle, via a system of copy, paste and free transform I created the rest of this border. The lip of orange as you can tell was so there where no white gaps between.

Next I created the features.

I then added some white page numbers to contrast the blue and make it look better.

I did the same effect with ‘Regulars’.

Then I created the regulars.

Finally I added page numbers…

And converted it into a jpeg file.
