Raising Skating AwarenessWhile not very common now, this sport was once very popular. Every four years, when the Olympics roll around, the interest increases and soon dies shortly after. It never used to like this and it is sad to see that the skating world is coming to this. Freestyle sessions used to have waiting lists to get on, and now it is hard to keep enough skates on the ice in order to cover the cost of the ice alone. This is a sport that most love to watch, but very few are daring enough to try it. So, we can all say that we want to do something, but until we actually make the commitment to do it, no one will believe us. Also, we cannot believe ourselves if never keep to our word and actually get out there and try. You only live once, so get out there and give it a try, you never know, you may be a natural. Go Sk8ing!!
