Dear Skating Friends,

Another skating season has passed and Silver Blade Tours was happy to provide skating tour packages around the

globe for our loyal clients. We traveled from Hoffman Estates, IL for Skate America, the first Grand Prix international

event to the 2017 U.S. Figure Skating Championships in Kansas City- where we witnessed wonderful skating, new

champions, and great BBQ, and finally to the World Figure Skating Championships in Helsinki, Finland. Our last

tour of the 2016-2017 season ended in our post World’s tour to Amsterdam, The Netherlands and surrounding towns

where we enjoyed the sights, sounds, food, and flowers of the season.

Upcoming skating tour packages to the following events for the 2017-2018 skating season

2017 International Figure Skating Classic- B Competition- Salt Lake City, UT September 13-17, 2017

If there is interest, we might plan a trip to Salt Lake City for the 2017 Figure Skating Classic in September.

2017 Skate America- Lake Placid, NY November 24-26, 2017.

This event is being held over Thanksgiving weekend and the last Grand Prix event before the Grand Prix Final.

2018 U.S. Figure Skating Championships- San Jose, CA December. 29, 2017-January. 8, 2018.

This pre-Olympic qualifying Nationals is special as we witness who will be a part of the U.S. Olympic Team. 6

different skating tour packages are still available, with seating in the first 5 rows. Contact Claudyne if you are

interested.

2018 World Figure Skating Championships- Milano, Italy, March 19-25, 2018.

Information will be available soon for this World Championships after the Winter Olympics. Our hotel will be located in

the heart of Milan, with the deluxe tour package to include all event/exhibition tickets, transfers, official program book

and pin, day trip to Lake Como including, sightseeing tour of Milan, and farewell dinner. For those continuing to

Switzerland, I suggest booking your international airfare to Milan through Geneva, Switzerland, then Geneva,

Switzerland to return home.

2018 Post World’s Tour- Switzerland- March 25- 31, 2018.

This post World’s tour will explore the Swiss Alps, the Matterhorn in Zermatt, Interlaken, Jungfrau region, Grindevald,

Lausanne home to the Olympic Museum, Montreux, and the quaint village of Gruyere. More information will become

available soon.
