A SMP meeting was held on 06 October 2021 at MCAS Camp Pendleton’s Hall of Heroes. List of those in attendance is provided on the sign in sheet (attachment 1). 02. President– Sgt Leyson opened the floor for feedback from the representatives present. 03. Quality of life issues: Old issues: o All tiers parking lot lights off closest to building 24015. Ongoing safety issue, lights don’t come on until 2200. o Bldg. 2408- consistent laundry room issues and flooding on an almost daily basis. Work orders need to be submitted and there needs to be follow through. o Cpl Sierra: 2496 Barracks have missing fire extinguishers; have checked with BEQ manager— Commands are responsible for purchasing, and buildings with sprinkler systems are not required to have them. o Cpl Sierra: 2496 barracks vending machines failing to heat food, and ongoing drink shortage. 06. Mr. James Koch, Outdoor Adventures Manager • October 29th: Halloween Costume Mountain Bike Ride, Juliet Training area

1000-1300. • No-cost unit events can be scheduled by contacting Outdoor Adventures

directly. Dates and activities subject to availability. 07. Ms. Tonya Bryant – 22 Area Active Duty Rec Center Manager – discussed the

upcoming events to include crock pot Monday night football events, and upcoming Car Show November 16th.

08. Mr. Mark Buehman – 24 Area Active Duty Rec Center Manager - Forecasted to reopen this month; grand re-opening will be on 27 October. 09. Mr. Sohail Malik – 33 Area Active Duty Rec Center Manager - Discussed upcoming events to include steak night and Sunday football events. 10. Conclusion – Meeting ended at 1240. Next Meeting will be held 6 October

2021 at 1200 at the Hall of Heroes Bldg.
