EUGLENA• Eyespot: sensory organ (red in color)• Flagellum: whip-like tail for movement

• Contractile Vacuole: Remove excess water• Nucleus: controls activities of Euglena

• Chloroplasts: green captures sunlight energy to make food (Photosynthesis)

• Cell membrane: Outer layer that allows movement in and out

Amoeba• Nucleus: Controls Amoeba activity

• Pseudopodia: “False foot” sent out for movement. Used also to engulf food.

• Cell Membrane: Outer layer that allows items in and out of amoeba

• Contractile Vacuole: part of cell that removes excess water from the amoeba.

• Food Vacuole: part of cell that stores food.
