Butcher’s Shop of the Year Awards – How
to Guide – Entries
Setting up an account – If you are a new
user
If you have previously registered for this event or any of our other events, your log in details
will stay the same across all our FluidReview sites.
Step 1: Go to https://wrbookings.butchershopoftheyear.co.uk/.
Step 2: Click the ‘Register’ button under the ‘Create an Account’ header.

Step 3: Fill out the below details and press ‘Create Account’ at the bottom of
the page.
Step 4: You will then receive a confirmation email containing a link. Make sure you click on this link to activate your account. Once you have done this, you will be able to log in using the below process. Please note: Emails from FluidReview may automatically be sent to your spam or junk folder.
Please make sure you check these folders. If you have not received an email within 2 hours
please contact Jessica Pope on 01293 610354 or by email [email protected].

Signing in
Step 1: Enter the email address your account is registered with and the corresponding password in the ‘Sign In’ box below.
If you have previously registered for this event or any of our other events, your log in details
will stay the same across all our FluidReview sites.

Completing Your Entrant Details Form
Step 1: You will now be on your account home page. To begin your entry
process click ‘Start’ next to ‘Entrant Details Form’.

Step 2: You will now be presented with your entrant details form. Please fill out
all of the required information.

Step 3: Once all the information is complete ensure you have accepted our
terms of entry. These can be reviewed here:
https://www.butchershopoftheyear.co.uk/terms-of-entry/. Click ‘Save and
Continue’ at the bottom of the page.

Purchasing your Entries
Step 1: After completing your contact details form, you will be taken back to
your account home page. You will now need to select the amount of entries you
wish to enter. Click ‘View Categories’.
Step 2: Select the amount of entries from each category you wish to add to your
cart by editing the number in the box below and clicking ‘Add to cart’.
Please note that you can only enter one store into the main category per account. If you would like to
enter another store you will need to create another account following the above steps.

Step 3: Your entries will show up on a ribbon at the bottom of the page. You can
expand this section to see how many entries you have in your cart by clicking
the arrow next to ‘Entry’. Once you have selected your amount click ‘Proceed to
Checkout’.

Step 4: You will be directed to our payment
portal. Fill out the below card details and
click ‘Pay’.
Your payment will now be complete and
you will be back at your home screen. You
will receive a receipt by email for your
payment.

Completing your Entries Step 1: From your account home page you can complete your entries. Each
entry has its own entry form and shows which category they are for. To begin,
click ‘Edit’ next to one of your entries.

Main Category Entries
These steps are relevant to the following categories: Scottish Butcher's Shop of
the Year/ Welsh Butcher's Shop of the Year/ Midlands & East of England
Butcher's Shop of the Year/ Northern Ireland Butcher's Shop of the Year/ North of
England Butcher's Shop of the Year/ South of England Butcher's Shop of the Year/
New Butchery Business of the Year/ Farm Shop of the Year/ Halal Butcher's Shop
of the Year
Step 1: Click ‘Start’ next to ‘Category Awards Entry Form’.

Step 2: You will
now need to pick
which main
category you
would like to
enter. Select the
category by
clicking on the
circle next to it.
The questions will
appear below. To
see a list of all of
the questions and
word counts,
please refer to the
end of this
document.
Step 3: Once all of the questions are complete, click ‘Next’ at the bottom of the
page. Depending on which category you are entering you may be presented
with another page of questions. Please answer these and click ‘Save & Continue’
or ‘Next’.

Online Butchery Business of the Year
Step 4: You will not be asked any questions, you will just need to input your
website address in the box provided and click ‘Next’. You will be able to upload
any supporting documents. How to do this will be shown later on in this guide.
Food Hall Butchery Business of the Year
Step 4: The questions for this category will not appear until you click ‘Next’.

Step 5: Once you have answered all of the questions click ‘Next’ at the bottom
of the page.
Step 6: You will
now need to
upload your
supporting photos
and/or documents.
Details of which
files we will need
for each category is
shown at the end
of this document.
Click start next to
one of the photo
uploads.

Step 7: You can drag and drop the file from the folder on your computer or
alternatively click ‘Browse for files’ to select your file and upload it. The file
types supported are displayed on the right hand side.
Step 8: Your item will automatically upload and will show underneath the
upload window. Once this is done click ‘Back to Entry’. If you need to resize your
photo please use this link to do so https://bulkresizephotos.com/.

Step 9: Once all of your compulsory files are uploaded you now need to click
‘Submit’ to confirm your entry. Please note, if you do not click this button your
entry will not be complete.
Please note that once you have clicked ‘Submit’ you will not be able to make any changes to
your entry.
Step 10: Click ‘Continue’.

Step 11: Click ‘Back to account’ to complete your other entries.
Your home page will now show your completed entry. You will now need to
complete and submit the rest of your entries. Details on how to complete your
Innovation and Young Butcher entries are in the following pages.

Innovation of the Year
Step 1: Click ‘Edit’ next to your Innovation entry.

Step 2: Now click ‘Start’.

Step 3: You now need to provide details of your innovation. Guidance on what
to cover is provided above the question. Please note there is a 1,000 word limit.
Once you are happy with your response click ‘Save & Continue’.

Step 4: You will now have the opportunity to upload any supporting documents
or photos. Click ‘Start’.
Step 5: You can drag and drop the file from the folder on your computer or
alternatively click ‘Browse for files’ to select your file and upload it. You can also
use a photo or file you have already uploaded. The file types supported are
displayed on the right hand side.

Step 8: Click ‘Continue’.
Step 9: Click ‘Back to account’ to complete your other entries.

Young Butcher of the Year
Step 1: Click ‘Edit’ next to your Young Butcher entry.
Step 2: Click ‘Start’ next to the first task.

Step 3: Please fill out your details and answer the required questions. Please
note there are word limits for each question. Please ensure you are eligible to
enter and tick the box.

Step 4: Once you have answered all the questions you must the click ‘Save &
Continue’.

Step 5: You will now need to upload some compulsory photos, please see these
detailed below. There is also an opportunity to upload any supporting
documents that you feel will enhance your entry. To upload your files click
‘Start’ next to the upload task.
Step 6: You can drag and drop the file from the folder on your computer or
alternatively click ‘Browse for files’ to select your file and upload it. You can also
use a photo or file you have already uploaded. The file types supported are
displayed on the right hand side.

Step 7: Your item will automatically upload and will show underneath the
upload window. Once this is done click ‘Back to Entry’.
