September 22, 2019 Fifteenth Sunday after Pentecost
Watchword for the Week – From the rising of the sun to its setting the name of the Lord is to be praised. Psalm 113:3 __________________________________________________________ Welcome to our service of worship for this fifteenth Sunday after
Pentecost - the season of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit was sent by the
Risen Lord, Jesus Christ, to supply the church with everything needed to
serve Him faithfully until the day of His return. As we worship today, let
us pray for a fresh outpouring of the Spirit upon ourselves, our church,
our community, nation and world. May more and more people
everywhere hear and respond to the Good News - that Jesus is the Way;
the Truth; the Life; the only source of salvation.
If you are visiting with us today we are especially glad you’re here.
Please take a moment to add your name, address and phone number to
the Friendship Register as it passed down the pew. We consider you an
honored guest and hope that you will return and worship with us in the
weeks to come. If you are looking for a church home we would love to
talk to you about joining the Friedberg church family.
Please silence all cell phones before worship.

lunch menu is grilled chicken and ham, green beans, parmesan cheese

“Cookies for Christ” – What can God do when the “Body of Christ”
gives from the heart for Christ? He can use the “Body of Christ” at
Friedberg to reach out and share the love of Christ to encourage and
build others up. From your gifts of love, we will purchase Moravian sugar
cookies and attach a message of love and thanks to each bag. Each bag
will be hand delivered to those serving this nation. It is amazing to see
how God can take a simple bag of cookies with a message attached, and
touch lives in a way we can never imagine.
▪ Love offering baskets can be found at each door – thru Oct. 13. ▪ If you wish to write a check, please make it payable to Friedberg
Moravian Church and reference “Cookies for Christ.” ▪ If you would like to have your donation added to your church
contribution, please use an envelope, complete all the
information requested and mark on the envelope “Cookies for
Christ.” “How many will you bless?” (Colossians 3:17)
In Christ, Keith Graham
