    help you get involved in the

    life of our community, meet

    new people and make Sewick-

    ley your home.

    We are a diverse group withvarying interests and at var-

    ious stages of our lives.Ladies meet once a month;September through May forfun and informative pro-grams. There are many spe-cial interest groups that meetthroughout the month.

    Our newsletter highlights aschedule of activities anddetails of meetings and pro-grams each month.

    From The PresidentHi Newcomers & Neighbors,

    I am very excited about my role as presidentthis year. We are fortunate to have such adynamic group of women on the board.Everyone has been hard at work to make thisanother amazing year.

    Our first big event-the Meet & Greet is rightaround the corner. I look forward tointroducing this years board, catching up withmembers and welcoming new ones. We have alot of great events planned this month so Ihope to see you there.

    Helping Hands

    Helping Hands provides meals to Sewickleyneighbors who have recently experienced a

    stressful event in their lives, such as the

    birth of a child, serious illness, or loss of a

    loved one. To request assistance, or to

    volunteer preparing and delivering meals,

    Girls Night OutJoin us Wednesday the 18th for a

    fabulous night out at Lulas. 8-10pm.

    1st Couples Night Out for the newyear scheduled for Sept 27th, Fridayat Vivo. Evite to follow with moredetails. Please add to your couplecalendar. See you there!

    Sewickley Serves

    Attend the Sewickley Serves Social on Wed., Sept. 18

    from 6:30-8:30 p.m. to Learn About Local Non-Profits.

    Held at the Sewickley Valley YMCA Community Activity

    Center, the event will be an open house format with wine

    and apps provided. Whether your passion is helping sen-

    iors, supporting the arts, working with animals or

    interacting with kids, come and get involved.

    All attendees are asked to please bring a non-perishable

    food item to be donated to the Coraopolis Food Bank as

    part of the Sewickley Y's "Good Deed of the Month."

    bies play group of the year on Monday, Septem-

    ber 23rd at Triangle Park at 11am. Bring a blanket

    and some toys and enjoy a morning outdoors

    with your lile one!

    (If the weather is too cold or wet, locaon will

    change to home of Erika Zeranski at 316 Thorn

    Street).

    1s and 2sHey, mama! Do you have a 12 mo. - 2.9 year old?

    Come play with us on Wednesday, Sept. 11 as weeat al fresco and entertain the tots at War Memo-

    rial Park from 11:30-1:00 (weather perming).

    Bring a lunch and meet at the rst pavilion on the

    hill. Other children welcome.

    3s and 4sCome jump, climb and swing at the home of Ali-

    son Sanford, 604 Davis Lane! Watch for our

    Monthly Programs

    It is going to be a great year and I am looking forward to seeing you all. This year the programs will generally be heldon the 2nd Tuesday of every month starting October 8th. There are a lot of fun things that will be hitting the calendarsoon, look for the emails, E-vites and updates in our monthly news letter. Please feel free to contact me with specific

    MembershipWelcome to the 2013-2014 Membership year. If you

    haven't already, please complete the online form, even

    if you completed it last year. We start over each yearwith our membership list. The membership form can
