Our Christ Church family photoalbum is much loved; we remarkon how much we have grown,different hair-dos, and peoplewho moved away. It’s a very

genuine reminder that we are afamily, with memories collectedtogether and a commonsharing.

One week the adults had a talkabout needs at Christ Church,one of which was a higher tableto hold the tray for the

Communion. Immediately dearGeorge rushed back to hishome and brought in an exactlyright table—now in constantuse—thankyou George!

The local Technical College inBarbourne “Fountains” recently

held an Open Evening; theytrain beauticians, sports, artists,hairdressers, etc so Sue, Angel,Holly and I went to visit. Wewere welcomed most warmlyand the tutors spoke verydirectly to the girls aboutpossible training there. Its good

to look ahead and make a fewplans.

In the Old Testament God talksabout plans “and they are forgood”. In the Tolly God’s plansare for good, and we pray wewill hear His guiding words andbe ready.

Good friendships are growinghere as we jog along, learning alot from each other. Youngstersin the Tolly area often have togrow up very quickly, learningearly on about tragedies and

sad happenings.

Its very moving to hear fromyoung teenagers aboutsituations in their lives, and howthey react to them. Theirwisdom and compassion arevery wide. Please pray forprotection of these dear people.

Services in Christ Churchcontinue to be innovative,imaginative and definitelyinspiring! “Sermons” areunconventional; one dictionarydefinition of a sermon is“ s p e e c h , d i s c o u r s e ,

conversation, discussion” andindeed all those happen.Sometimes we paint or drawpictures; our Apostles’ Creed isvery animated, with physicalinterpretation, and lots of smiles.Sometimes the Peach exchangeis at a different point in the

service (Nancy reminded usthat this Sunday hug may haveto last a child for a long time.)
