Senior Pastor Constituted in 1963, we are one church with two languages. Enchanted Hills Baptist Church (EHBC) is located in the Enchanted Hills neighborhood in Southwest Tucson, Arizona. On Sundays, we currently have a contemporary English worship service at 9:30, followed by Spanish and English Sunday School at 11:00, and a Spanish worship service at noon. Our ministries include visitation, youth & adult Wednesday night Bible studies, food & clothing distribution, prayer group, and men’s and women’s ministries. In 2018, we partnered with Faith Christian Academy (grades 6-12) to meet their need for facilities, until they are able to procure their own campus. Additionally, we partner with 4 Tucson, Caring Ministries, Centro Khes’ed in Nogales, Mexico; Good News Club at Oyama Elementary, Men’s M.E.A.T. & Greet (Men Encouraging & Transforming) of Tucson, and W.H.E.A.T. (Women Helping, Encouraging, & Transforming). EHBC is prayerfully seeking a full-time Senior Pastor who meets the following qualifications: Required Qualifications: • Subscribes to the Baptist Faith & Message (2000), and meets the qualifications of 1 Tim 3:1-7 & Titus 1:6-9, and believes the Bible is the inerrant word of God. • Ordained as a Southern Baptist Pastor/Preacher. • Willing to work full-time and continue to grow current partnerships. • Provide strong leadership and vision with elders, deacons, ministry leaders, and staff. • Work closely with Spanish Pastor in order to unify the church congregation through weekly messages and fellowship. Desired Qualifications: • Experienced professional with seminary degree is desired, but each resume will be considered on its own merit. • Committed to continual prayer and to the ministry of the Word (Acts 6:4) • A heart for missions. • Willing and able to embrace people of different cultures and values. • Demonstrate strong leadership within his own family. • Willing and able to counsel, guide, and mentor members and non-members alike. • Effectively delegate tasks to leaders and expand participation from the congregation in activities and ministries.
