Almeda, CESO IV Director IV DepEd Complex, Meralco Avenue Pasig City Ma’am, This is to signify the intent of Makati Hope Christian School (MHCS) to offer a two-year Senior High School Program (SHSP) starting S.Y. 2016 - 2017. This is in response to the Department of Education’s K to 12 education reform program that requires additional two years in high school to complete the Basic Education Program and to cater to the need for a SHSP by our own batch 2016 graduates. The MHCS Senior High School Program (SHSP) is envisioned to provide an in-depth specialization curriculum in career tracks that are aligned with the interests and abilities of the students and at the same time, responsive to the market demands and needs of the community. In addition, course offerings will be anchored on the General Education Curriculum: Holistic Understandings, Intellectual and Civic Competencies as stipulated in CHED Memorandum Order no. 20 series of 2013. In preparation for this undertaking, the school proposes the following work timeline. DepEd Makati will be constantly updated regarding its progress. Date Activity April – May 2014 School audit on its capacity to offer SHS in terms of facilities, faculty readiness etc. to implement the program June – August 2014 Consultation with stakeholders e.g. parents, DepEd officials September 2014 Creation of K to 12 Transition Management Team and sub-committees - Curriculum Program - Faculty and Personnel - Support Services (OSA) - Physical Facilities - Student Data etc. Nov. 2014 – Feb. 2015 Committee Work, Capacity Building March 2015 Presentation and Synthesis of Committee Output April – December 2015 Address committee recommendations

Ma’am,

This is to signify the intent of Makati Hope Christian School (MHCS) to offer a two-year Senior High School Program (SHSP) starting S.Y. 2016 - 2017.
