Enlightenment is an experiential understanding from deep within, irrevocable

understanding, absolute understanding that ego exists not. EgoThe "I" is

fictitious, pseudo entit. !ll that exist is onl onsciousness, #ivinit, $hiva.

If this understanding has happened to ou at our core, which is a first%hand

experience, that is enlightenment. It is not &ust intellectual understanding but

deep within ou something has been transformed, a ver deep experience b

which ou 'now this thing, not &ust the intellectual understanding of that state.

(hen it happens deep within ou in the bottom of our heart, at the core of

our being, in an experiential manner, then that is the state of enlightenment.

That is called first hand experience of divinit. (here the experiencer is not,

onl the divinit is.

Enlightenment is for those courageous few who are willing to die completel. In

that total death of the ego enlightenment happens. (hen enlightenment

happens I am not. If I am there enlightenment is not $o nobod can ma'e

a statement that I am enlightened because I can never be enlightened.

Enlightenment is I am not.

Enlightenment and the ego are li'e sun and dar'ness. )ou as' the $un have ou

seen the dar'ness. (hat will be the repl of the $un* $un will sa, (hat are

ou tal'ing about* If the $un is there the dar'ness is not there. If the dar'ness

is there the $un is not there. If the enlightenment is there then ego is not there. If

ego is there enlightenment is not there. $un and dar'ness can never meet.

Ego is the dar'ness that does not have an existence. It is onl because there is

no sun, that ou have dar'ness. #ar'ness is non%existing, it is fictitious, pseudo.

!bsence of light is called dar'ness so one should not struggle with the dar'ness

within. The ego which is the dar'ness, one should not struggle with it, &ust light

the lamp+

The onl wa out is to light the lamp within. ow does one do that* It is merel

lighting one lamp with the help of other lamp. (hen there is a lamp which isalread lit ta'e the lamp which is not lit near the lamp which is litThis is the

wa the unlit lamp will get lit+. That is wh there is so much importance of the

presence of the -iving Enlightened aster. That is wh in our culture there is so

much respect and gratitude for all the /urus.

0ut which lamp will be lit* 1ne which has all the ingredients li'e oil, wic' and

which is read to be lit. 0ut if in the lamp there is water and ou tr to light it

will it lit* 2ever+ $o how does one prepare the lamp so that it can be lit needs

to be understood.

There are basicall five 3ualities

educated, too logical, learned, intellectual, complicated persons will miss the

point. $o, simplicit is the first virtue on the path to enlightenment.

can sa that the lamp should be read to destro its dar'ness. It should be read

to go near the fire to catch the fire.

ost people are not willing to go near live fire, the living enlightened master,

but the prefer to see it from far(h* If ou go near the fire then it will burn

ou. Enlightened consciousness is more li'e fire. If ou go close to the fire ouwill be burnt. 0ut these great intellectual giants the will tal' about this fire,

the will discuss about it, the will have stud circles, the will read boo's but

nobod will be willing to go closer to the fire and get burnt because the are not

read for that. That is wh the remain intellectual idiots.

Ego is li'e a $alt doll. It wants to roam around the shore and 'eeps as'ing what

the depth of the ocean is* The $alt%#oll has to be read to &ump into the ocean

without ma'ing an excuses and it will dissolve. ow much time does it ta'e to

understand this* It?s so simple. 1ur mind is so complex and it creates

unnecessar complications.

$o if we have these five 3ualities within us then our lamp too will be read to

lit. (hen the unlit lamp goes near the lamp which is lit and catches the flame,

the lamp which is alread lit has nothing to lose. 1ne the unlit lamp catches the

flame and it is 'ept next to the lamp which is alread lit, can ou tell which

lamp was lit first and which one was next* 2o one can tell+

1ne more thing to understand isthe flame of the lamp is more important and

not the shape and si@e and the loo's of the bod of the lamp. Then whether thatlamp is made of mud or gold does not matter. If there is respect, appreciation,

gratitude towards that enlightened consciousness, our lamp will get lit

otherwise not.

1nce ou have those five basic 3ualities, it is possible to discus the

brea'through technolog of enlightenment. 0ut before we can get into the

technolog of brea'through, we need to understand few fundamentals of life

and living. (e also need to understand clearl the difference between 0rain A

ind and the inter%relation between the two.

0rain is the hardware aspect. It is highl evolved module in the s'ull, which is

the greatest wonder and the miracle the wa it functions. It is connected to and

constantl in touch with all the parts of the bod through various stimuli it gets

in the form of neural signals. ence even though it is placed in the s'ull, its

reach is over the entire bod.

ind is the software aspect. It is the thought%emotions bundle, which is loaded

with our li'es and disli'es, our associations and attachments, fears and phobias

etc.

It is the combination of the brain as the hardware and the mind as the software

that is responsible for the miraculous functioning and also the &o and miseries

of the human race.

The combination is miraculous because it has the great capacit to compare,

calculate, evaluate, memori@e, fantasi@e, imagine, react, respond, intellectuali@e

and intuit etc. It is because of these capabilities that humans are different and far

more superior in their functioning compared to an other living organism on

this planet.

The combination has also created the miseries for the human race because

human mind is now caught in its own web. Its capacit to memori@e, calculate

and compare has gone to ver high levels of cunning%ness. This calculative

mind is totall unaware of the other aspects such as to respond, intuit or being

silent. ThatBs wh it has gone off%balance. $uch people with one%sided

development go eccentric ver fast+ It is this unbalanced growth of mind, which

is responsible for the human miseries in the midst of plent.

)ou can see the truth of it, when ou see that rich people are as miserable as

poor or at times more miserable, because material affluence has not helped us in

sorting out the human problems, which are mostl pschological. 1n the

contrar the statistics prove that more affluent the societ, more the heart

attac's, more divorces and more relationship problems.

The time has come where it has become almost a compulsion for us that, we

must loo' into these issues of life, otherwise it will be too late and we will be

repenting at leisure+ If ou are sincere and honest in our seeing, it is not ver

difficult to see the urgenc of it as felt b the spea'er. #o ou feel this urgenc*

If ou do feel this urgenc and are interested in the brea'through, how can we

proceed further*

there are no thoughts D resulting into the non%thought @one. This state is so

vibrant and dnamic that the thought has got no capacit to linger in this @one.

This is the state in which one should get rooted into with multi%point awareness.

$taing more and more into this state is the invitation to divine. It ma'es it

possible to touch upon that divine 3ualit which brings about the totaltransformation from the ver core of our being through the explosion of the

pschological instrument in the inner domain.

!s ou remain alert, aware and vigilant throughout, there is no chance at all for

the thought%mind to pla tric's with ou in the form of visuali@ation,

hallucinations, imager etc. In fact, this state being beond the frontiers of

thoughts, the thought has no sa in it at all.

1nce ou touch upon that, the awareness falls bac' upon itself, becoming awareof itself+ It results into the total annihilation of the ego%mind%personalit, as the

huge fire of that dnamic energ engulfs the entire garbage called mind, with all

its emotional entanglements. ;or the first time ou feel health as ou get

healed completel with that celestial shower which washes awa all the hurt and

humiliations faced in the past. This is the process of rebirth. The old goes out,

the new comes in. The process continues and it ta'es its own time to settle,

which varies from few months to few ears, depending upon the past habits and

temperaments of the person.

This is the brea'through into a new dimension which is beond the frontiers of

thought%mind. The eternal &ourne continues.

6lease practice this what is being said. 9nderstanding it intellectuall is the

first step, but that alone will not produce results. )ou have to practice it and

wor' it out up to the end of it. That is the process of enlightenment+
