Application range110 LANKOSKIM is a skim smoothing rendering powder with water for repairing surfaces defect in concrete or render. A smooth surface is obtained by eliminating blemishes such as grooves, seams, rock pockets or surface cracks.

Substrate preparationSubstrate must be firm and sound (Fig. a).

If the leaking is found, repair leaking area by224 K11 Rapid Plug or suitable materials (Fig. b).

Over plus, seam or form trace must be struck off orground (Fig. c).

Wires, nails and forms must be taken out or cut off flushwith the surface (Fig. d).

Thoroughly clean the substrate, all of contaminants mustbe removed including dirt, grease, paint, old underlay or any loose particles which may inhibit the bonding of 110 LANKOSKIM to the substrate (fig. e).

Pre wet and saturate until damp the substrate with cleanwater prior to applying 110 LANKOSKIM (Fig. f).

Product preparationMachine-mix or hand-mix one 20 kg bag of110 LANKOSKIM with 7-7.5 L (34-36%) of clean water until the compound is evenly distributed. DO not mixesadd any admixtures (Fig. g).

Mix until obtaining a homogeneous paste (Fig. g).

ApplicationThe uneven level, step edge and form trace may betreated by 110 LANKOSKIM as a patch repair by putty knife (Fig. h).

Or apply 110 LANKOSKIM as a thin render paste bysteel trowel and press hard to fill the defects (Fig. i).

In case that more than 1 layer are required to obtain thefinished surface, apply 110 LANKOSKIM

After the previous layer has been dry (2-4 hours) andthe total thickness should be 0.3-4 mm. (Fig. j).

The trace of steel trowel can be deleted by using finesand paper after the surface has hardened enough (>1days) (Fig. l).

CuringPrevent the plasteredsurface from drying out too rapidly by avoiding direct rays of sun and it must be protected from rain for 2 days. It may be covered after the surface have been completely dry (7 days) or left bare (Fig. j).
