Several local businesses participated in the event, generously providing students with treats along the way. We would like to thank all parents for their help during the parade and classroom activities, with a special thanks going out to the City of Scranton for their help in organizing the event, and the business owners for their continued support of our school. Some of the most popular days to visit are our salad bar days that have traditionally been on ursdays. We would like to announce that our salad bar days will now be on Wednesdays. If you ever want to join us for some great food, we appreciate a call that morning before 9:00 am so we can let our cooks know how many meals to expect. We hope to see you soon! Lunch Visitors

Students of the MonthThe following students were selected by SAC staff as our “Top Chefs” for the month of October. We are proud of their commitment to excellence both in and out of the classroom.

1st Quarter Honor RollAll A’s Honor Roll:

The week of November 12-16 is Bullying Prevention Week, and SAC students will be celebrating the event with a variety of dress-up days devoted to awareness of this important topic. We encourage all students and staff to participate and show their support of all our students as we put an end to bullying.Monday 11/12- “Stomp out Bullying!!” Wear your craziest socks and shoes!Tuesday 11/13- “Be a buddy, not a bully.” Dress up like a friend or friends!Wednesday 11/14- “Compliment Day!!” Wear a color compliment and make a compliment to someone!Thursday 11/15- “SAC is a safe place to be” by daring to dress differently. Wear mismatched, upside down clothes.Friday 11/16- “Be a team player and stand up to bullies.” Dress in your favorite team shirt.

Fourth-grade students learned about color compliments during art this past month. Now they can put that knowledge to the test and spread some positivity with “Compliment Day” Wednesday, Nov. 14.
