The third year (3A) is spent abroad.

Each school offers a range of modules, all linked with their professional sphere. Social Responsibility
Since its creation, Sciences Po has made the common good its central undertaking. Social responsibility is ingrained in our DNA and present in
everything that we do: student recruitment, teaching, research, and governance of the institution. The number of students on scholarships at Sciences Po has increased from 12% in 2005 to 26% in 2018. This is the result of our proactive social aid policies which provided financial aid to nearly 4 out of 10 students in 2018. The Equal Opportunity Programme, which was created in 2001, is a unique admissions process amongst higher education institutions. This programme is open to
106 high schools across France and has allowed us to welcome 1,929 students since its creation. Since 2017 Sciences Po has awarded students who are asylum seekers and refugees with the Professional Certificate for Young Refugees. 18 students coming from 8 different countries take part in this 2-year programme.
Sciences Po also prioritises accessibility for disabled students: in 2018-19, 300 students with a disability were admitted. Furthermore, the Gender Equality Pole puts into place measures to promote true gender equality and to raise awareness for everybody who is part of the institution.
