Miranda North PS day for Hermidale PS – Last Thursday, the stage 3 students at Miranda North PS organised a crazy hair, silly sock and cupcake day to raise funds for the students at Hermidale PS. It was an amazing day as we were able to join in the fun! We had crazy looking hair and we skyped with the principal – Mrs Orlovich, students and teaching staff. It was very beautiful when the students stood together, held hands and chanted hand in hand together we stand. We are very thankful to the many organisers, students and their families. During these drought conditions we really appreciate the thoughtfulness of others.

Hand in hand together we stand – While our school community is facing drought, we too are thinking of those school communities who are effected by the recent and ongoing bush fires. In next fortnight’s newsletter, I will attach the scholastic book club. You may like to consider purchasing a book for us to post on your behalf, to a school that has lost their library in the fires.

Have a good week Skye Dedman Principal
