PASTOR’S CORNER Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

On Tuesday and Wednesday all the Dominican Friars of the province were together at Vallombrosa retreat center in Menlo Park for two days of conferences. It was a blessed time of prayer, exchange of ideas and of course lots of laughs. It was nice to catch up with Fathers Michael and John Marie, see our photo below. Our first Banquet in the Park last weekend was a great success. I will write more about it in my next pastor’s corner because they're keeping us pretty busy at this conference. Last week I announced at Mass we were starting a Grief series again, I misspoke, yesterday’s talk by Deacon Hemenway on Grieving During the Holidays was not the beginning of a series, rather a single, yet special, event. We will likely begin our respected series for understanding and dealing with grief (7 stages of grief over 7 weeks) in the new year. Brother Brad’s talk on “Who is Jesus?” will also be rescheduled for early in the new year.

God bless you all, Fr. Jerome
