Myanmar The Irrawaddy River is Myanmars longest river, and a source of continuity and hope for the countrys people who inhabit the waters edge. It traverses a relatively straight path as it makes its journey south, touching the lives of thousands who scatter the thriving banks and beyond. If youre lucky you may see the elusive Irrawaddy dolphin.

The land of a thousand templesSule Pagoda is believed to be over 2,000 years old and is said to contain the hair of Buddha. The cylindrical stupa that tops the five storeys of Shwesandaw pagoda boasts a bejewelled umbrella which can be seen for miles.
