The work of Sky Blues in the Community is of enormous importance to the football club both in terms of our responsibility to the community, but also to help nurture and develop young players in the local area. The World Cup camps are a great way for children to be fit and active during school holidays, and the experienced Sky Blues coaches are always striving to ensure everyone is enjoying themselves during their time with us. The Player Development Centre scheme also helps to identify talented local players, as Sky Blues in the Community see thousands of young players every year through schools and community-based work. Coventry City Football Club has a strong track record bringing local young players through the Academy to play for the first team, and all of these initiatives will help us continue that tradition long into the future.
