PERSONAL PROTECTION

Employees will be protected against exposure to safety and health hazards (e.g.,radiation) which are impracticable to eliminate, through proper use of personal protectiveequipment and periodic environment monitoring and bio-surveillance where necessary.(onstruction !afety "anual, #.#.$)

!o often the last line of defense between a worer and an accident is his personalprotective equipment - yet people are reluctant to use it/ ts importance must be

stressed to supervisors and staff time and time again until they all get it right, all inds ofprotective equipment is available, so use it. 0ead protection, protection from noise,protecting the eyes and sight, respiration protection, body protection, protection of handsand foot protection, equipment is available for all.
