Card of Thanks 1145
I would like to thank everyone
w h o h e l p e d m a k e m y
retirement from the Coaldale &
District Emergency Service so
memorable. Thanks to all the
people who sent cards, emails,
dropped by the fire hall or
stopped me on the street, it was
very humbling. Special thanks
to the Town of Coaldale who
hosted my retirement supper
and program. A special thank
you to Kalen Hastings, Janice
Herbst and my daughter
McKinley, who spent many
hours organizing the event. To
my firefighters who came out
and honoured me that night
and my friends and family who
at tended and shared my
special night with me, thank
you. It was my pleasure to
serve the citizens of Coaldale
and the Lethbridge County for
the last 40 years. It was a
pleasure working with a great
bunch of firefighters who made
my job easy to do. I cannot
express enough how working
with volunteer firefighters that
worked with compassion and
professionalism as well as
enthusiasm made my job a lot
easier. The Town of Coaldale
and Lethbridge County are a
safer and better place to live
because of their dedication. I
was proud to serve as their
Chief. Thank you from the
bottom of my heart.
