    Description

    Availability is now measured and reported for

    the complete HANA replication scenario and no

    longer per individual physical primary or

    secondary database.

    You get more accurate availability reporting for

    HANA Replication Scenarios

    Interface Documentation:

    ▪ Interface documentation in SAP Solution Manager 7.2 is a part

    Solution Documentation’s Interface Library.

    ▪ Interfaces can be documented centrally in the interfaces library –

    Integration Repository.

    ▪ Supports documentation of all standard interface technologies. It

    also supports documentation of custom interface technologies, in

    case standard does not fulfil your need.

    ▪ If necessary, custom-specific attributes for the interfaces can be

    defined in case the standard attributes are insufficient to describe

    the interface.

    ▪ Supports lifecycle management of Interfaces.

    ▪ Reuse interface details in the Integration Repository to set up

    Interface Monitoring in few clicks.

    In Solution Manager 7.2, Integration

    Repository is part of Solution

    Documentation’s Interface Library

    Each interface in Interface Library can

    have a so-called Interface Details element

    Attributes can be maintained for the current

    interface which are specific for the

    interface technology

    Integration Repository can be enhanced with

    custom interface attributes and custom

    interface technologies

    It is possible to reuse standard interface

    attributes in custom technologies

    In addition, you can enhance standard

    technologies with custom interface attributes

    Discovery

    Automated discovery of interfaces in the

    managed system for different interface

    types:

    IDoc, qRFC, Web Service, RFC

    footprint on performance

    Automatic extraction of PI/PO interfaces

    with configuration and runtime information.

    Monitoring Setup

    Open Solution Documentation and

    navigate to the right business process

    context.

    Typically, interface monitoring objects

    are assigned to an interface in the

    business process, but other contexts

    are possible, too (business process

    itself, or process step).

    Monitoring object configuration can be

    started from the “Elements of…” box

    using context menu New →

    Operations → Alerting.

    Default Values: Re-use Interface Documentation Data for Monitoring Setup

    ICMon Setup UI offers the possibility

    to re-use the interface attribute data

    from Interface Documentation

    By pressing button “Default Values” a

    list of all available interface

    documentations is displayed which

    have the same Interface Type, the

    same source and the same target

    system

    If ICMon setup is started from a

    business process interface, only one

    Interface Documentation shows up

    (the one which belongs to the

    referenced interface)
