WHO ARE WETHE BEGINNING OF A MOVEMENT

Bras For Hope is a national coalition raising money for the critical distribution of post-mastectomy lingerie for women surviving breast cancer.

Our Mission is to educate, inform, reach-out, and be an advocate for women who are uninsured or underinsured, and simply cannot afford post-mastectomy garments. In support of women’s health awareness, Azzizawear Funded this 501c3 coalition as a unique stand alone organization help breast cancer survivors’ special necessities by fundraising and donations.

The Vision of Bras For Hope Is to gain recognition worldwide and become an international advocate for global awareness of breast cancer and women’s health. Bras For Hope represents, supports, and serves breast cancer survivors everywhere.

The Bras for Hope Philosophy is to provide high quality garments and prosthetics for the emotional healing of woman, giving them that new found awareness of personal custom design. The lingerie they will wear will look no different than mainstream brand, celebrating the style and charm of European design. Once a survivor slips into one of these beautiful, soft, durable, and washable garments, she will experience our belief in the attitude of “Look Good, Feel Good”.

The principle is an integral part of our total cancer treatment approach and an initial step in the emotional support and healing of each survivor. The Bras for Hope coalition offers real and tangible support, comfort and beauty in all ways possible.

Funding is respectfully solicited from individuals, corporations and other foundations throughout the US and Worldwide. Funding received from these compassionate individuals enable our 501c3 nonprofit organization to provide these garments at absolutely NO cost to the recipients. For the women who have had a mastectomy, this gift provides new pride and confidence that will allow these deserving women to return to their lives and workforce. For the caring friends, families and individuals whose lives have been directly touched by a breast cancer survivors’ life, this gift offers hope.

Bras for Hope provides high quality undergarments and prosthetics to assist breast cancer survivors regain their self-esteem, by building on our “Women Within, Women Without” Philosophy manifests the beauty and strength of the inner woman by enhancing her outward appearance.

My sister, Esperanza Rivera, Died of Breast Cancer In 1993, and is survived by 4 children, 9 grand children, and 4 great grand children. She was only 52 years old, and family members did not know much about breast cancer, the guidelines or to survive the disease. Eppi, as she was known, was a very giving and loving person. She was like my Mom, always giving to others and assisting them with food, clothing, and money.

In Eppi’s Honor, I created the Bras for Hope Coalition. I wanted to continue the legacy of always helping and giving to people in need. In support of women, who are breast cancer survivors, and have no insurance or are underinsured, we provide them with 100% high quality post mastectomy bras and prosthetics. Bras for Hope alleviates one worry in the minds of cancer survivors.

Eppi is our Ambassador for hope in the fight against Breast Cancer. Her hugs were like no other! She is our symbol for the enduring love that cures the mental

scars of breast cancer. Eppi supports the renewed feminine

pride that our gorgeous bras offer to cure the physical scars of Breast Cancer.

Eppi will continue to help others through the Bras for Hope Coalition and Azzizawear International for many years until a

medical cure for Breast Cancer is found!

GIFT OF HOPEBE A PART OF OUR“TOTAL CANCER TREATMENT”

Bras for Hope invites you to support breast health constantly, especially during the month of October. We would like to help encourage Breast Cancer support and awareness by supplying you with our tax-deductable Bras for Hope designed placards to display in your place of business, local schools, and other public forums. With only a $1.oo tax-deductable donation, you can help Bras for Hope and directly touch a breast cancer survivor’s life by giving her the gift of hope.

All proceeds from the placards will go to the Bras for Hope 501c3 Foundation. Funds acquired from the placards and all other donations will pay for 100% of the garments that are given to women who are in dire need of these fundamental garments. Our specially made garments are an integral part of the mental recovery after surgery, helping to boost their emotional well being, and help tangibly in this costly world of healthcare.

The Bras for Hope Coalition is a leader in breast cancer and women’s health awareness, and our breast health placards are just one of the many ways we will get the message out in all communities. Your company and neighborhood can feel good about helping us spread the word and ultimately raise the much needed funds that provide the specially made garments for women, our foundation supports globally
