1 Sales Information System (SIS)

UseWith help of the sales information system (SIS), you can carry out statistical evaluations of the following groups involved in the business process: salesorganization, shipping point, sales representative, sales office, customer, material, variant configuration . The AFS system also contains the standard analysisAFS Dim . Statistics (S430) allows statistical analyses at the dimension and requirements category levels.

The AFS standard analysis is useful if you want to access specific data at SKU level and to provide statistical data of the requirement categories. Typicalexamples would be if you wanted to find out how much of which size was sold how many times, or which quality was sold how many times.

The new standard analysis S430 provides information in the following form:

Sales by order quantityReturn quantityOpen order quantityInvoiced quantityCredit memo quantity

IntegrationThe communication structures MCVBEP and MCVBAP contain the season indicator . If desired, you can add it to your own field catalog to use it as a key figure inflexible analyses or in your own information structures.

PrerequisitesThe statistics groups in the material master and customer master must have been maintained. If they are not, the system cannot update the statistics.

FeaturesThe sales information system in AFS works just like the one in the R/3 standard. It enables you to carry out all evaluation of the standard analyses with AFS

materials. The standard analyses of the delivered information structures are updated with the quantity and value data.In the R/3 standard it is possible to exclude rejected items from the statistics update. Rejected schedule lines, however, are always updated in the AFS

system. At the schedule line level you cannot define whether rejection reasons are relevant to the statistics update. When using a

Multi-store order, only the documents created by the explosion are entered in the sales information system. The original document is disregarded by thestatistics update to avoid duplicate data.
