Dear Sisters and Brothers in the Lord, Continue Best Wishes and Blessings in abundance to you, prayers and wishes from our Sisters and all our staff. May the year of Our Lord 2019 find us all drawing closer to Him, Who constantly calls us to greater unity in Him and through Him with one another. May we continue to love with our prayers and sacrifices those most disenfranchised from Him and/or the goods of this world. Continued thanks from the Sisters and all our staff for your many holiday helps and kindnesses. Special thanks to Carol and Will Tamney, Carol Stairiker, Frank and Susan Dattilo, Mary Devine and Pat Krause for their kind assistance to our staff with the Christmas decorations. Susan did a beautiful job, once again, restoring the crib figures at our parking lot Church entrance. We are so very grateful to our lectors, cantors, choir groups, servers and ushers who help us worship our good and gracious God, His Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Their Holy Spirit, alive and active in our lives. Praised be the Holy, Undivided, Trinity of Divine Persons, now and for all eternity! jcd+

Presentation: What Can We Do? The Role of the Laity in a Time of Crisis As the Church undergoes this period of profound crisis, many of us feel helpless as we watch a drama unfold that we can do nothing about. But the truth is that we are not powerless. The history of the Church tells us that lay people have a role to play in the Church’s times of turmoil. Join us for an evening of reflection on the mission of the laity in times of ecclesial crisis and learn what you can do to cooperate with Christ’s action to purify and heal His Church. Monday, Jan.27, 7:00-8:30 PM in Saints Peter and Paul Church, West Chester. Speaker: Meghan Cokeley, Office for the New Evangelization; No charge to attend. Please RSVP at phillyevang.org/events or call 484-473-8205.
The Prayer Shawl Group will meet on January 10 in the Rectory Meeting Room.

SAVE THE DATE NATIONAL MARCH FOR LIFE-FRIDAY, JANUARY 24-WASHINGTON D.C. In the United States, the annual March for Life will be held in Washington, D.C., on Friday, Jan. 24, 2020 to
call for the overrun of the infamous Roe v. Wade decision that legalized abortion in the United States. Thanks to a generous contribution from the Saint Pope John XXIII Council Knights of Columbus, the Respect Life Committees of our parish and SS. Peter and Paul have chartered a bus to the March. Donations will be accepted on the bus which will be applied to the K of C Charities Programs , which will include High School Scholarships, Birthright of West Chester, our parish seminarians, and other similar initiatives. The bus will be leaving from the SS Philip and James parking lot at 6:00 A.M. There will be a sign-up sheet in the vestibule of the Church or if you wish, you can call JoAnn Carlin at 484-927-4200 for additional information or to make a reservation.
Youth Ministry Since you enabled our youth group Christmas projects,
we pass along the thank you notes to all of you. The
administrator at the Literacy Center, Sister Bernadette,
wrote "Your goodness to these children is the true
reflection of Christmas. Their parents are unable to
purchase gifts like yours."
Again we thank you as always for your constant
charitable support.
Thanks also to our co-leader Noel Stranen and our
accountant Dianne O'Melia.
