Bishop’s Annual Appeal for Ministries
Last Sunday was Pledge Sunday for the 2018 Bish-op’s Annual Appeal for Ministries. Each Individu-al in our faith family was asked to make a commit-
ment of financial support for our Diocesan ser-vices and ministries. If you have not made your
commitment or donation, please do so this week. Many need your help; as do those who benefit
from diocesan youth ministry, prison ministry and more. We ask everyone to participate as each do-nation is valuable. Please show your support of

Sacred Heart Catholic School (Pre-K through 8th), located at 220 Berger Street, Lawrenceburg, TN, seeks a dynamic indi-vidual to serve as Principal. The candidate must be a practic-ing Catholic; understand and support the philosophy of Catho-lic education; possess a master’s degree in education or ad-ministration; have a minimum five years’ experience as a teacher or principal in a Catholic school system; and possess competent verbal and written communication skills. Addition-ally, experience in recruiting and fund raising is preferred. The position offers competitive salary and benefits. The primary functions of this position are to manage and pro-vide opportunities for spiritual growth for students and faculty; create an environment that promotes the Catholic faith and moral development of the school community; provide leader-ship in curriculum development; plan for school financial re-sources and development; conduct staff development pro-grams; evaluate and supervise faculty, staff, students and the instruction program; and work collaboratively with diocesan and parish groups, especially in the areas of governance. Overall role is to be the educational administrator and cate-chetical leader of the school.
