INTRODUCTION

The following report will deal with the results of a prospecting and sampling program carried out on the Groves Township Property. The property is made up of eight, unpatented block and single unit (95 units) mining claims, located in Groves Township, Porcupine Mining Division, Ontario. This work was carried out over a two-phase work program. The first phase focused on the gold potential of the area. A total of 24 rock samples were taken over a two-day period during the month of September 1997. Phase two focuses on the areas potential to host a copper-nickel, platinum deposit Here, 23 rock samples were taken over a three-day period during the month of August 1999.

The purpose of this program was to provide reconnaissance geological data that may reflect the gold, copper, nickel and platinum content of the underlying geology.

LOCATION AND ACCESS

The Groves Township Property consists of 8 unpatented mining claims (95 units) situated within the central portion of Groves Township, Porcupine Mining Division. The block is located approximately 90 miles southwest of the city of Timmins or 6 miles southeast of the village of Gogama. Groves Lake borders the eastern portion of the block while the CNR rail line runs through the western portion.

Access to the property was gained by floatplane (Beaver) from the Village of Connaught, Ontario. For both phases of the work program a field camp was set up on the west shore of Pensyl Lake of the property was worked from here.

PREVIOUS WORK

The current claim holder has not conducted any previous work on the properties. However, the property does have a history of work that was carried out by past claim holders. This includes reported reserves of 500,000 tons of t.5% Cu,Ni combined. Within these Cu, Ni reserves, anomalous values of platinum were also reported.

CLAIMS

The claims that make up the Groves Township Property are held by Steve Anderson and are located in Groves Township, Porcupine Mining Division. The following is a list of the claims.

WORK PROGRAM

The work program carried out on the Groves Township property took the form of reconnaissance prospecting. The property was visited on two separate occasions, focusing first of gold deposition and the on copper, nickel and platinum deposition. A fixed wing aircraft from Connaught Ontario was used to access the property on both occasions. The prospecting was conducted from field camps set up on Pensyl Lake. On both occasions three men spent three days on the property. A total of 47 samples in all were collected in all. Only the samples sent for gold assays were available at the time of writing.

SURVEY RESULTS

As mentioned above, only the results from the 24 samples sent to be assayed for gold were available. Several samples from the second phase of prospecting have been sent for assay but the results have yet to be returned. Although a favourable geological environment was observed the samples tested showed only minor values in gold. The assay certificate can be found under appendix "A" of this report.

RECOMMENDATIONS AND CONCLUSIONS

As described under results, the prospecting program returned only one weakly anomalous Au value. Despite these poor results, additional work may be warranted due to the size of the property and the limited amount of time spent on the property.

The second phase of the program focused on base metal and platinum deposition. Some of the samples taken show the presence of a favourable geological environment in the area. Although these assay results are pending, it would appear additional work is warranted..

The second phase of the program focused on base metal and platinum deposition. The diorite that hosts the Cu-Ni deposit has also been reported to contain up to. loz/ton Pt As a result, additional work in the area would be warranted, focusing on any other diorite units located in the area. A magnetometer survey may help outline any of these units that may not be exposed The next phase of work will involve establishing a grid over the main area of interest as well as additional more detailed geological mapping of the area.

The 45 days outlined in the Notice dated November 25,1999 have passed. Assessment work credit has been approved as outlined below:

1997

Although the technical report refers to both 2 and 3 days worked we have allowed for 3 days.

1999

There is a question as to the eligibility of the work being performed in relation to the recording of claims 1236583 and 1236585. As the specific dates worked were not provided in the report and the expenditure verification was not supplied for the airfare no assessment credit is being allowed for the 1999 work. This work can be resubmitted at a later date if it meets the requirements of the assessment work regulations.

The following information was deficient with respect to the requirements for prospecting: In the report,

(i) describing in detail the nature and content of the work and the observations made during performance of the work,(ii) stating the dates on which the work was performed,(iii) stating the licence numbers ...of the persons who performed the work, and(iv) signed by the persons who performed the work (only 1 of 3);
