REDUCED FARE ELIGIBILITYTTD only offers reduced fares to persons who can prove eligibility when purchasing the fare.
• Persons with TTD’s ADA Paratransit ID card
• Persons 65 years of age and older (seniors) with a
valid government-issued photo ID
• Persons with a valid Medicare card and a valid government issued photo ID
• Veteran’s Health Identification Card with a “service-connected disability” designation

GENERAL INFORMATIONBicycles / BicicletasBike racks are available on a first come, first served basis. Folding bicycles may be brought on buses if space is available and the bicycle does not obstruct or pose a risk to other passengers.

Service Animals / Animales de ServicioOnly service animals are permitted on the bus. Pets and animals that are not service animals are NOT permitted on TTD buses or in the transit facilities. Service animals must be leashed or harnessed and under complete control of their owner at all times. Aggressive ordominant behavior will not be tolerated.

Paratransit Service/ Servicio ParatránsitoTTD administers Paratransit Service in South Lake Tahoe pursuant to the South Shore Area ADA Paratransit Service Policies and Procedures, available on the TTD website or upon request. The service is available for individuals who cannot otherwise use the fixed route system due to specific disabilities or health-related conditions, persons 65 years of age and over (seniors), and veterans with a “Service-connected Disability” designation on their Veteran’s Health Identification Card. Title VI Policy / Título VI PolíticaTTD hereby gives public notice that it is TTD’s policy to assure full compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) and other related authorities in all of its programs and activities. TTD’s Title VI and ADA Programs require that no person shall, on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or
disability, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program or activity. Any person, who believes his or her Title VI or ADA rights have been violated, may file a complaint. Any such complaint must be made in writing and filed within 180 days following the date of the alleged discriminatory occurrence.
