1.# Introduction!!BMX!Norway!and!the!town!of!Sandnes!is!honored!to!welcome!you!to!UEC!BMX!European!cup!round!9!and!10.!BMX!Norway!has!a!long!history!of!hosting!large!events!going!back!to!the!BMX!World!championship!in!1991.!Our!last!event!was!the!UCI!Supercross!series!held!in!Randaberg!arena.!!This!time!we!would!like!to!invite!you!all!to!Velde!Arena!just!outside!the!town!of!Sandnes.!The!track!was!finished!in!2013!and!has!been!one!of!Scandinavia’s!most!challenging!tracks!for!both!BMX!and!Supercross.!The!organization!is!a!partnership!of!five!local!clubs!and!the!track!is!the!home!track!of!Tore!Navrestad!and!Silje!Fiskebekk,!the!fastest!riders!in!Norway!at!the!moment!for!Men!and!women.!!!!

2.# Velde#Arena#Sviland#BMX##The!track!Velde!Arena!consist!of!two!start!hills!and!3!double!straights.!!The!Supercross!track!has!a!8m!hill!and!consists!of!a!pro!section!!and!rhythm!section.!The!5m!hill!is!as!steep!and!challenging!as!an!SX!start!just!lower.!!The!track!is!know!for!great!flow!and!big!open!turns,!making!for!great!racing.!!80%!of!the!track!is!covered!in!bricks!so!the!track!is!super!fast.!!!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9eamBwinpJM!!!

Teams!that!want!to!participate!in!the!UEC!Team!Competition!must!register!before!15!March!and!they!pay!€200,00!to!the!UEC.!Teams!only!receive!passes!during!the!events!when!they!enter!the!team!competition!of!the!weekend.!!

Teams!register!final!4!team!riders!that!participate!in!team!competition!on!Friday!during!registration!(11:00]14:00).!!

BMX!Norway!will!provide!to!UEC!registered!teams:!!

Spaces!for!team!tents,!as!close!as!possible!to!the!track,!of!6!x!3!m!for!each!team!registered!for!that!specific!race,!at!the!cost!of!1500!NOK.!!

The!organizer!will!receive!a!list!of!the!UEC!after!registration!is!closed!of!the!teams!who!are!registered!for!the!race!and!will!need!a!team!space.!!

15. Catering

There will be several options for food and drinks at the track. The water is safe to drink in Norway. The Arena is a non alcohol and smoke arena. All smokers will be forced to smoke outside the Arena.

16. Shops

There will be a few local shops offering BMX goods during the weekend. Most major BMX parts brands will be represented. If you want to book space for sale contact kenmeland@icloud.com for prices and space reservation.

During the event BIBs will be distributed by the UEC Press Officer. Kersten van Kerckhoven. Accredited members of the press also benefit from a special car park close to the track.

The number of photographers permitted at the track is limited to 5. Both the UEC/UCI and the organization will favor said medium.
