    ST. MARY CATHOLIC SCHOOLROCKET REVIEW / MAY 28, 2014 / VOLUME 1, NO. 33New website address: StMaryRockwood.com

s our 8th graders leave St. Mary on their last day, we would like tohank them for the impeccable role models they have become. Theyuly embody the vision of St. Mary: to Pray, Work, Study, Play anderve Others in Christs Name. We are so proud of the young adults

hey have become and could not be happier to now call them Alumni.onight they celebrate their confirmation and on Thursday willelebrate their graduation.

    Dr. Seuss reminds us"You hav

    brains in your headYou hav

feet in your shoesYou can steer yoursein any directio

    you chooseYou're on your own

    And you knowwhat you know

You are the guy who'll decide where to go.

"There is a good reason they call these ceremonies 'commencementexercises.' Graduation is not the end; it's the beginning." (Orrin

    Hatch)

Go out and make us proud.

    Congratulations, Graduates, and God Bless.

The St. Mary PTO bottle drive has been such a success this past school year, and we

thank you for your assistance with it. However, Monday, June 2 will be the last day to

bring your cans & bottles to school as the program will come to an end for this school

    year.

Once the green recycle bin is gone from the back of the building, please do not leave

any cans, bottles or bags there any longer as we will not have anyone to pick them up.

We will start the program back up in the fall.

On behalf of the St. Mary PTO we would like to thank you for all of your continued

support with this program, it was a huge success!

Finally, we would like to thank Bill Brinker. We appreciate all of your help over the

past months with returning the cans & bottles brought to school. We sincerely

    appreciate it!

Dont Forget to Clip & Save Box Tops over the Summer!

St. Mary School PTO would like to thank the students, staff, grandparents & parishionersfor clipping, saving & bringing in your box tops this past school year. Together we raised

just over $1,900.00, which was the most we have earned to date on this program.

We would like to say thank you to Mary Malaniak for being our Box Top coordinator overthe years. Your work did not go unnoticed. Additionally, we would like to welcome our newcoordinator, Tonya Robinson. We appreciate the both of you, for the work you have donein the past and will continue to do for the students of St. Mary School.

Over the summer please continue to clip & save your box tops, as our first collection monthwill take place in October. Each box top is worth $0.10 when the school redeems them, and with these funds the PTO can continue to provide many fun-filled activities for thestudents of St. Mary School.

There is no time like the present. Start clipping & saving your box tops now and all summerlong! Lets surpass the money we earned this year. Its easy and the rewards are endless.

We wish you and your family an enjoyable & restful summer.
