Kindergarten Super Stars

Our website has MOVED!

You can now find us at StMaryRockwood.com. Please make a

note, and pardon our “dust” as we switch everything over.

Makiya Barron is this week's Kindergarten super star! Makiya is six years old. She lives in Rockwood, Michigan, and has one sister, Daisy, who is in the second grade.! Makiya's favorite color is purple. Makiya really enjoys karate, dancing, reading, singing, and playing. Her favorite sport is soccer. Makiya's favorite subject in school is reading. Her favorite book Is "Caps For Sale".! When Makiya grows up she would like to be a dancer. Makiya's family thinks she is a super star because she is always eager to try new things. She is smart, energetic, beautiful, and always willing to lend a helping hand. Her smile lights a room, and her laughter fills our hearts.! Ms. Kremer thinks Makiya is a super star because she is an excellent reader, she is brave to come to a new school and make new friends, and she tries her best in every subject.

The P.T.O. needs your help in showing how much our teachers and staff mean to us. On Friday, May 16, the St. Mary P.T.O. will host a sit down lunch for all of our wonderful teachers and staff members. We are in need of many volunteers to assist with the lunch hour & recess for all grade levels, while the teachers enjoy their lunch.

SAVE YOUR CANS & BOTTLES

and BRING THEM TO ST. MARY SCHOOL

The PTO bottle drive is in full swing and we appreciate your participation. Please continue to bring your cans & bottles (cans & bottles only please) that have been accumulating in your garage and leave them at St. Mary School. We will be more than happy to take care of them for you. There is a large green container marked “Bottle Drive” in the back of the school, and all proceeds will benefit Pennies for Playground. Tell your family, friends and even neighbors and spread the news. Our bottle drive will continue through the end of the school year.

If you have any questions, please email PTO Secretary, Maureen Brinker, at [email protected]. Thank you for your continued cooperation. Finally, the PTO would like to send out a HUGE THANK YOU to Bill Brinker for all of his assistance during these past few months. We could not do this without you!
