Spring Term 2 Extra-curricular Clubs
Attendance has taken a dip again. Only Y2 and Y4 have attendance above 95%. Well one to you! All other classes need to work hard to be in school regularly and have attendance above 95%.
FIXED PENALTY NOTICES
Families with children with 8+ unauthorised absences, in a 10 week period, will receive a fixed penalty notice warning letter. Any further unauthorised absences will result in a £120 fine from the Local Authority.
Where attendance continues to be a serious issue, and does not improve, can result in prosecution
including £2500 fine, community order or custodial sentence. More information can be found at gov.uk.
If you need support in getting your children to school , and on time, please speak to Mrs Lyon who can look at how best to support you. We want to work with our families to ensure we give your children the
best start in life.
We are just in the process of finalising our Spring term 2 club offer and
confirmation of club offers will be sent out in the first week back.
Please complete slips and return with money, if needed, as soon as
possible. Children are selected on a first come, first serve basis.

Bikeability
Y5 children will be participating in their Bikeability course on Monday 24th February
and Monday 2nd March. They must come to school with their bike and helmet
otherwise they will not be able to participate.
Children can wear their PE kit on both Mondays but they must wear their grey marl
joggers as they are outside all day. Any other joggers are not permitted as they are
not school uniform. All children will need a coat, hat and scarf to keep warm.
Dodgeball
Well done to our Y2 pupils who competed in the
dodge ball competition, put on by LSC.
We are extremely proud of them for their great
sportsmanship, wonderful behaviour and team work.
They played very well and came 6th. Well done!
They all came home with a medal each and big
smile on their faces!
