– Analysis was conducted in 07/08 but not completed due to the closure of the MOSART Project

• Problem Definition Paper (PDP)– New PDP submitted in Sep 2013

• Prepared by LBI staff with Senior Chief input– VCDS mandated (2012 EC cycle analysis ROD)– Re-establish Fin Mgt

Rank Qualification

• Rank Qualification (RQ)– A qualification, obtained via formal training,

that enables a member to perform one or more entry level occupational jobs, where required to attain a new substantive rank. These will replace former occupational qualification levels, such as QL3, QL5, etc.

• Unique Specialty Qualification (USQ)– A qualification that is unique to one

Common Specialty Qualification

• Common Specialty Qualification (CSQ)– A qualification that is common to more than

• Jobs identified and job descriptions complete– 39 Jobs, 484 Tasks Identified

• First round of position mapping completed– All Reg F positions were mapped to one of the

new jobs.

• Second round of position mapping to start shortly– Need to balance HR/Fin Mgmt position allocation

• Res F position mapping ongoing
