In B2 we have been learning about the features

of dinosaurs and how they used these features to survive in Jurassic times.

At our assembly we recited many interesting facts about the characteristics, habits and types of dinosaurs.

We finished off the performance with the Dinosaur Stomp Dance.

We hope everyone enjoyed our dino-mite dinosaur assembly!

Our In-Term Swimming Lessons are well under way and our students are thoroughly enjoying their lessons. We are so looking forward to the sunshine this week! Please remember to make sure that all of your children’s belongings are clearly labelled. Our swimmers are extra hungry! Please remember to pack a substantial, healthy lunch for their hungry tummies. It would be a great idea to pack some extra healthy snacks too.

New Staff car parking bays have been marked in the Avoca Chase car park. Please note that the car park to the left of the Avoca Chase entrance is for staff parking only. This has been clearly marked. Please do not park in the marked bays. It is important that these bays are left free for staff to park in. Your assistance in keeping these bays free is greatly appreciated.

Congratulations

At present we have approximately 550 students enrolled for the new school year. Could you please ensure that you notify the front administration office if you are intending to move to another school. This information is extremely valuable to us as it will allow for more accurate planning. Thank you.

Are You Returning in 2018?

2018? Where will you be in

Thank you to our Rivergums community for

supporting our ‘No Waste Wednesday’ initiative.

Each Wednesday, our student leaders conduct a

waste audit of our classrooms. Each piece of

rubbish is counted and averaged over the number

of students in the class. The class with the least

amount of waste per child is awarded the Golden

Bin.

Congratulations

to C3 for being

the most Waste

Wise class in

Week 10 of

Term 3.
