The role of the Cost Consultant, is to advise lenders on the adequacy ofbudgets, initially and throughout construction. BDC’s mission is to continuallyimprove the process, reducing the risk and challenges facing lenders.
Risk Mitigation ServicesAt the budget review stage, each budget component will be analysed in terms of it’s risk. Recommendations will be made to reduce this risk and quantify potential increases.Throughout the monitoring period components will be re-assessed and re-quantified. Reports will be prepared at each stage clearly identifying components at greater potentialrisk and actions being taken.
