Rexnord introduces the Chain Monitoring System (CMS) as the next step towards real-time chain condition knowledge allowing end-users to apply productive maintenance. It is based on (patent pending) technology, that measures chain thickness and pitch elongation. This information can be real-time monitored from a computer. With this valuable information on efficiency improvements and replacement stock levels, it allows for significant savings on total cost of ownership.
