Heinemann Children’s Games by Maria Toth is a book published by

Heinemann. First published in 1995, this book offers you an

excellent range of highly motivating activities to use in your classes

with young learners. The book is divided in two parts: an

introduction in which you can find an index where the aim of each

activity and also the vocabulary this book prompts are clearly stated.

Apart from this, there is also a language checkpoint where you can

look for the topic you want to teach and you are provided with the

activity that is aimed to that purpose.Placed at the beginning of the

book there is an explanation of the objectives this book was written

for.

The second part of the book consists of activities which are clearly

explained and staged. In addition to this, they are easily adaptable

according to your students’ needs regardless the size of the class.

Last but not least, it is worth mentioning that this outstanding book

can be photocopied a quality that makes it even more appropriate for

a teacher who wants to keep his/her students motivated.
