8th Annual “Souper Bowl”

Super Bowl Sunday is right around the corner. As we enjoy the game, let’s keep in mind those in our
community who don’t have enough to eat. The Peace & Justice Committee is asking you to bring one or more cans of soup to church on the
weekend of Super Bowl Sunday, February 4th and 5th
Last year we collected 884 food items. We hope to score a record 1,000 items this year.
Boxes will be available for the soups at the entrances to church. All soups will be donated to
local food pantries.
Help tackle hunger in our community.

El domingo de Super Bowl
está a la vuelta de la esquina. Recordemos que mien-tras disfrutamos del juego hay muchos en nuestra comunidad que no tienen lo suficiente para comer.
El Comité para la Paz y la Justicia los invita a traer una o más latas de sopa a la iglesia el fin de semana
del Super Bowl, domingos 4 y 5 de febrero. El año pasado colectamos 884 alimentos.
Esperamos llegar al récord de 1.000 artículos este año. Las cajas para poner las sopas se localizarán a las entradas de la iglesia.
Todas las sopas serán donadas a las despensas locales.
Ayudemos a combatir el hambre en nuestra comunidad.
