Estimados feligreses,
El jueves es el día de acción de gracias. Esta semana, habrá
un descanso de bienvenida de la escuela y para muchas
personas, del trabajo. Aunque todas las tiendas minoristas
se preparan para abundantes ventas este viernes y los días
siguientes. En este fin de semana, es el último dia que vere-
mos el verde del Tiempo Ordinario, hasta que esta tempora-
da litúrgica se cambia el 19 de enero de 2020. Es apropiado
preparar nuestros corazones con oración para la próxima
temporada festiva. La actividad agitada, las distracciones e
incluso los virus que circulan marcan estos días.
Tratemos de resolver esto, tomando como modelo para las
fiestas, el espíritu de la Sagrada Familia. María y José se
prepararon en un espíritu de silencio para el próximo viaje
de Nazaret a Belén. Trabajaron juntos con caridad y ama-
bilidad unos con otros para prepararse para el nacimiento
de Nuestro Salvador. Tomemos este enfoque en cada aspec-
to de nuestra vida en los días próximos.
Oh Dios, que se complació en darnos el brillante ejemplo de
la Sagrada Familia, concede gentilmente que podamos imi-
tarlos al practicar sus virtudes en los lazos de la caridad, y
así, en la alegría de tu casa, deleitarte un día con recompen-
sas eternas. .

Dear Parishioners,
Thursday is Thanksgiving Day. This week welcome break
from school and for many people, from work. Even though
all retail stores prepare for abundant sales on Friday and
the days following. On this weekend, the last we will see of
the green of Ordinary Time until this liturgical season re-
sumes on January 19, 2020, it is appropriate to prepare
our hearts with prayer for the ensuing holiday season. Hec-
tic activity, distractions and even viruses that make their
way around, mark these days.
Let us resolve to take as the model for the holiday season,
the spirit of the Holy Family. Mary and Joseph prepared in
a spirit of silence for the approaching journey from Naza-
reth to Bethlehem. They worked together with charity and
kindness toward one another to prepare for the birth of
Our Savior. Let us take this approach to every aspect of
our Life in the days to come.
O God, who were pleased to give us the shining example of
the Holy Family, graciously grant that we may imitate them
in practicing their virtues in the bonds of charity, and so, in
the joy of your house, delight one day in eternal rewards.

SANTA CRUZ YOUTH GROUP will have a bake sale the weekend of
December 7/8. Along with the baked goods they will be selling
Italian and Bethlehem rosaries, as well as a large variety of Catho-
lic medals, crucifix necklaces, bracelets and other faith inspired
jewelry. Please stop by after all Masses and support the Santa
Cruz Youth in their effort to raise funds to attend DCYC .
THE SOCIETY OF ST. VINCENT DE PAUL is now planning for their annu-
al angel tree breakfast including a celebration of the baby Je-
sus, food for the families and gifts for the children.
The angel tree will be placed in the narthex the week-
end of November 30/December 1. It is an opportunity
for you and your children to do something special for a
family in need during the Christmas Holidays. If you
are aware of any families in need please encourage
them to contact SVDP for assistance and their chil-
dren’s inclusion at the Angel Tree breakfast. Contact
