1. Purpose
Recruiting the right staff is a crucial component of creating the workforce profile that City of Playford needs to achieve its organisational objectives. 4. Procedure The following diagram illustrates the three stages of the recruitment procedure. The selection procedure used will depend on whether the new recruit will be either an Employee or a Contractor.

HR Officer 9.3.1 Shall, upon receipt of a signed letter of appointment/offer from the candidate and completed new starter paperwork, notify the HR Advisor and Manager and make arrangements for an Employee ID number to be issued for new Employees.
HR Officer 9.3.2 Shall, send an email to Manager confirming the appointment has been finalised.
9.3.3 Shall, create User Access Form in document management system and distribute to Manager to complete.
Manager 9.3.4 Shall complete the new user access form details in their document management system task list.
9.3.5 Shall send an email to the Service or Practice team to announce the commencement of the new starter.
